Upon completion of his three year residency in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Jex started his medical career in Michigan. He moved to Bakersfield in 2007 and having lived here for more than five years he and his family now call Bakersfield home.<\/p>\n
Dr. Jex brings exceptional skills to the Foot & Ankle Institute with his special training and certification in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. He has been active with the ABPS in developing exam questions for new resident graduates and is involved in administering the yearly tests. He is currently on staff at Memorial Wound Care Center and manages the many challenges in the lower extremities of diabetic patients. In addition, Dr. Jex is skilled in managing work related injuries for Worker’s Compensation Insurances. <\/p>\n

\n I grew up in the west and I’m happy to be back in this part of the country. I enjoy spending time with my wife, three children and two dogs.
